Zero stars if I could give them negative I would. Dr Molly refused to take over international health certificates because she didn’t feel like my cats should travel overseas. That is not her call to make. As a fear free clinic I expect your team to be professional and take the pets mental health into concern. Forcing my cats to stay with a fear clinic that uses torture devices is insane. I will be reporting Dr Molly to the state and the usda for refusal to comply with laws. I will do everything in my power to make sure this clinic takes responsibility for all expenses in travel and all physical and emotional damage that will be inflicted on myself and my cats due to refusal to accept them and forcing us to go to a fear clinic or as Liz said “you’ll just have to call around and find a fear free clinic” . Expect a lawsuit incoming. Absolutely do not recommend this clinic or Dr Molly and admonishment to the staff Liz for her rude and dismissive attitude to a pet parent that is desperately seeking help for her pets. Zero remorse or care from Liz or Dr Molly. It is not up to the vet whether I take my esa cat and other cats I’ve had for 10 years with me to Japan to live. Deciding she won’t do the health certificates based on her own choice is not acceptable. To deny them she needs a valid ethical or legal reason to deny them and you do not. All of my cats meet the requirements for entry and there is absolutely no reason to deny them a health certificate when they already are in the process of getting them with an another clinic. Had we known it was a fear clinic we wouldn’t have started with them but asking Dr Molly to take over when even the other clinic is saying it is fine to do so is beyond ridiculous, it is targeted discrimination. The only health problem one of my cats has ever had is a urinary track infection and hasn’t had it reoccur since he started his medication. That is NOT a reason to deny him let alone all three of my cats international health certificates! She did not ask how we plan to take, that we are chartering a private flight, that they will be well taken care of; she made her own decision without consulting the owner. Despicable behavior, I hope the state and USDA revokes your license and closes down your clinic.

Absolutely love this place!!! They're so friendly and they're so good with my dog. I live east Springfield and I will always make the drive just to go here. I highly recommend using them!!

There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for Nixa Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Molly and the incredible staff who cared for our babies Tasha, Brodie and our sweet Raya. From the very beginning, they treated all my dogs like their own. Through every appointment, every question, and every difficult decision, they showed genuine compassion, patience, and love, not just for our dogs, but for our entire family. When it came time to say goodbye to Raya, Dr. Molly was right there with us. She didn’t just provide medical care; she shared in our grief. She cried with us as Raya took her last breaths, and that kind of compassion is something we’ll never forget. In one of the hardest moments of our lives, we felt supported, understood, and cared for. What touched our hearts even more was learning that after Raya passed, Dr. Molly made a donation in her honor. That simple act meant so much to us and showed just how deeply they care about the animals and families they serve. Nixa Animal Hospital is more than a veterinary clinic. They are people who truly love your pets and walk alongside you through both the joyful and heartbreaking moments. We will always be thankful for the love and kindness they showed Raya and our family. Thank you, Dr. Molly and the entire Nixa Animal Hospital team, for loving our girl so well, as well as loving Tasha and Brodie. Wish we had you guys in Indiana with us.
